Terms & Conditions

1. Customers must truthfully declare information on the check-in form, including the cat's health certificate, reasons for boarding, and length of stay. The cat must be in good health at the time of check-in.


2. Customers must present a valid vaccination card for their cat at check-in. Kittens must have received three doses of the FVRCP vaccine; adult cats must have an annual FVRCP booster. Customers should check the vaccination card for expiration dates. Cats must have valid vaccinations to be admitted. If a valid vaccination card is not presented before boarding at Forestlife Cat Hotel, boarding services will not be provided, and any deposits or payments made will not be refunded.


3. Customers must apply flea treatment to their cat within one month prior to boarding and provide photos/videos or proof of the flea treatment used. If unable to provide this proof, customers must purchase and apply the flea treatment at check-in before their cat can be admitted.


4. Upon check-in, Forestlife Cat Hotel staff will perform a basic health check on the cat, including inspecting the ears, skin, and any wounds.


5. For the health of all resident cats, if staff discover any infectious skin diseases, fleas, or other issues during check-in or after arrival, boarding services will be denied, and any deposits will not be refunded.
6. Customers must not conceal any chronic illnesses or conditions of their cats (including but not limited to seizures, heart disease, etc.). If such conditions require long-term specialised care, customers should opt for a veterinary clinic that provides 24-hour care. If any issues arise due to inaccurate information or concealment, the customer will be held fully responsible. If Forestlife Cat Hotel discovers any of these conditions, boarding services will not be provided, and deposits will not be refunded.


7. If medication, eye drops, or other services are required, customers must request these before their cat checks in. Forestlife Cat Hotel will make decisions based on the cat’s health condition. If the cat is too resistant to being handled by strangers, these services may not be provided to avoid distressing the cat.


8. Suppose a cat shows any signs of discomfort during its stay. In that case, Forestlife Cat Hotel will notify the customer or the emergency contact listed on the application form, requesting that they take the cat for medical attention. If Forestlife Cat Hotel is unable to contact the customer or the emergency contact for any reason, it will not bear any legal responsibility or financial compensation. Should it become necessary for Forestlife Cat Hotel staff to take the cat to a veterinarian with the customer's consent, this service will be provided at no extra charge, on a reimbursement basis. If the cat's condition worsens or it passes away during this process, Forestlife Cat Hotel staff will not bear any legal responsibility or financial compensation.


9. If emergency medical treatment is needed, customers agree that Forestlife Cat Hotel can decide to contact a veterinarian and carry out necessary treatments, with all related costs to be borne by the customer.


10. If a cat's behaviour (e.g., aggression) results in injuries to other cats or staff, Forestlife Cat Hotel has the right to terminate boarding services, and the customer will bear any related compensation responsibilities.


11. All risks during the cat's stay are to be assumed by the customer. Forestlife Cat Hotel will not be held liable for any injuries, pregnancies, or fatalities.


12. If a cat unfortunately passes away during its stay, Forestlife Cat Hotel will make efforts to contact the customer or the emergency contact listed on the application form. If the customer cannot be contacted on time, Forestlife Cat Hotel will proceed with end-of-life services, and the customer will be responsible for all associated costs.


13. When checking out, customers must sign a receipt from Forestlife Cat Hotel, either in person or through an authorised person, to confirm that the cat is leaving in good health. Once the cat has left, Forestlife Cat Hotel will not be held accountable.


14. Booking Method:
* For stays within one month or during peak seasons (January, February, July, August, December), customers must pay the full amount at the time of booking confirmation to complete the reservation.
* For stays of more than one month, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation, with the remaining balance due at least 7 days before check-in (e.g., for check-in on October 8, the balance must be paid by October 1 or earlier).
* If customers fail to pay the remaining balance on time, Forestlife Cat Hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund. Confirmation of the booking indicates that the customer has read and agrees to all terms and arrangements of Forestlife Cat Hotel.


15. If customers wish to cancel or change their check-in date after booking, Forestlife Cat Hotel will handle it as follows:
* Notification at least 7 days before check-in will result in an 80% refund of the amount paid, with 20% retained as an administrative fee.
* Notification less than 7 days before check-in (including on the day of check-in) will result in no refund of the amount paid.
* Changing the check-in date will be treated as a cancellation of the original reservation, requiring a new booking under the same terms.


16. All early check-outs or failure to arrive at Forestlife Cat Hotel will be treated as automatic forfeiture, and all reserved nights will be cancelled, with no refund of amounts paid, and the full cost of the booked room must be paid.


17. Check-in time is from 15:30 PM to 20:00 PM; check-out time is from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
* If check-in is not completed by 20:00 PM, an administrative fee of HKD $100 per hour will be charged.
* If check-out is not completed by 15:00 PM, an additional night's charge will apply.


18. If boarding services have concluded and the customer or emergency contact cannot be reached, Forestlife Cat Hotel may consider transferring the cat to another boarding facility or seeking assistance from an animal shelter. In cases of repeated unsuccessful contact, Forestlife Cat Hotel will handle the situation according to legal procedures.


19. Forestlife Cat Hotel prices are for reference only and are subject to change without notice.


20. Forestlife Cat Hotel reserves the right to accept or decline reservations at its discretion.


21. By booking a room, customers indicate that they have read and agreed to all terms listed above. Forestlife Cat Hotel reserves the right to modify, replace, delete, or establish new terms regarding boarding without prior notice.
