After receiving the successful payment confirmation email from Furmomo, Yukkuri Cat Hotel will call the customer within the next 2 working days during office hours to confirm the appointment time and location. Customers can also call the hotel for details one working day after the order confirmation (Phone: 9327 5501).
1. Admission and Health Declaration
Customers must truthfully complete and declare the "Check-in Form," which includes but is not limited to the cat's health certificates, the reason for the stay, and the estimated duration of residence. Customers must ensure that their cat is in good physical health upon arrival.
2. Vaccination Requirements
Upon check-in, customers must present a valid vaccination record (needle card) for their cat. Kittens must have completed a total of 3 FVRCP vaccinations, while adult cats require an annual FVRCP booster. Customers must ensure that the vaccines have not expired and will not expire during the stay; cats must have valid vaccinations to be admitted. If a valid vaccination record cannot be provided prior to check-in, the Hotel will be unable to provide boarding services, and any room deposit or full payment made will be non-refundable.
3. Flea and Tick Prevention
Customers must complete external deworming (flea and tick spot-on treatment) for their cat within 1 month prior to check-in and provide proof via photos, videos, or the packaging of the used product. If no relevant proof can be provided, the customer must purchase the deworming treatment on-site during check-in and administer it to the cat before boarding can be arranged.
4. Initial Health Check
Upon check-in, Hotel staff will perform a basic preliminary physical examination of the cat, including checking the ears, skin, and body surface for any wounds or abnormalities.
5. Contagious Diseases and Refusal of Service
To protect the health and safety of all resident cats, if the Hotel staff discovers that a cat suffers from contagious skin diseases, fleas, or other infectious illnesses during check-in or during the stay, the Hotel reserves the right to immediately refuse or terminate the boarding service, and any room deposit paid will be non-refundable.
6. Disclosure of Chronic Illnesses
Customers must not conceal any chronic or long-term medical conditions of their cat (including but not limited to seizures, heart disease, etc.). For cats suffering from the aforementioned conditions that require prolonged specialized care, customers should choose to board them at a veterinary clinic that offers 24-hour medical supervision. If any issues arise due to inaccurate information or intentional concealment provided by the customer, the customer shall bear full legal and financial responsibility. If the Hotel discovers any such underlying medical conditions, the Hotel reserves the right to immediately refuse boarding services, and the room deposit will be non-refundable.
7. Medication and Nursing Services
If nursing services such as administering oral medication or eye drops are required during the boarding period, the customer must request this prior to check-in. The Hotel will assess and make a decision based on the cat's specific physical condition and cooperativeness. If the cat shows excessive resistance to being touched by strangers, the Hotel will be unable to provide such nursing services to avoid causing excessive distress to the cat.
8. Medical Emergencies and Non-Urgent Treatment
If a cat experiences any physical discomfort during its stay, the Hotel will, under feasible circumstances, notify the customer or the emergency contact person listed on the application form immediately, and request that the customer take the cat to a veterinarian. If the Hotel fails to contact the customer or the emergency contact due to force majeure or sudden unforeseen reasons, the Hotel shall not bear any legal liability and/or financial compensation. Upon receiving authorization and consent from the customer, if the cat needs to be escorted to a veterinary clinic by Hotel staff, the staff will make the final decision based on the current operational status of the shop. This escort service is free of charge, while the actual medical expenses shall be borne entirely by the customer on a reimbursement basis. If the cat's condition deteriorates or if the cat unfortunately passes away during transit or treatment, the Hotel staff shall not bear any legal liability or financial compensation.
9. Immediate Emergency Medical Care
In the event of an emergency requiring immediate medical intervention, the customer agrees that the Hotel may, at its sole discretion, contact a veterinarian and proceed with the necessary emergency treatment. All associated medical expenses shall be paid in full by the customer.
10. Cat Behavior and Liability
If a cat’s behavior (such as aggressiveness) causes injury to other resident cats or Hotel staff, the Hotel reserves the right to immediately terminate the boarding service. The customer shall bear all relevant medical compensation and legal liabilities.
11. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
All health and safety risks during the stay (including but not limited to injury, pregnancy, or death) shall be borne solely by the customer. Except in cases of gross negligence by the Hotel, Yukkuri Cat Hotel assumes no legal liability or financial compensation.
12. Deceased Cats and Handling
In the unfortunate event that a cat passes away during its stay, the Hotel will make every effort to immediately contact the customer or the emergency contact person listed on the application form. If contact cannot be established in a timely manner, Yukkuri Cat Hotel will arrange for after-death arrangements on behalf of the customer, and the customer must be fully responsible for and pay all associated costs incurred.
13. Check-out and Release of Liability
When checking out, the customer or their authorized proxy must personally sign the Yukkuri Cat Hotel Receipt to confirm that the cat is leaving under the acknowledgment and agreement that it is in "good health." Once check-out procedures are complete, Yukkuri Cat Hotel shall bear no further accountability or liability.
14. Booking and Payment Terms
Short-term Bookings (Check-in within 1 month) or Peak Seasons: Peak seasons include January, February, July, August, and December. Customers must pay the full amount upon booking confirmation to finalize the reservation.
Long-term Bookings (Check-in after 1 month): Customers must pay a 50% deposit to secure the room. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the check-in date (e.g., if checking in on May 8, the balance must be cleared on or before May 1).

15. Cancellation or Amendment of Check-in Dates
Once a booking is confirmed, if a customer requests to cancel or change the check-in date due to personal reasons, the Hotel will handle it according to the following standards:
Notice given 7 days or more prior to the check-in date: 80% of the total amount paid can be refunded; the remaining 20% will be retained as an administrative fee.
Notice given less than 7 days (including the check-in day) prior to the check-in date: The amount paid will be forfeited in full and is non-refundable.
Amending Check-in Dates: This will strictly be treated as a "cancellation of the original reservation." The customer must create a new booking, which will be subject to the same cancellation and amendment policies above.
16. Early Check-out and No-Shows
Any early check-out or failure to arrive at Yukkuri Cat Hotel on the scheduled date will be treated as an automatic forfeiture of the stay. All nights of the reservation will be automatically canceled, payments made will be non-refundable, and the customer remains liable for the full cost of the reserved room.

18. Unclaimed Pets (Abandonment Clause)

Concurrently, Yukkuri Cat Hotel will pursue relevant legal actions in accordance with statutory procedures.
